"Dreamer’s Path” draws its inspiration from the nearby Botanical Gardens, just a stone's throw from my home studio. It's a place where I often lose myself in daydreams, strolling through the gardens and winding paths, captivated by their beauty. My intention was to capture the dreamlike essence of these surroundings and invite viewers to embark on a journey of discovery and wonder.
This path winds through wild Erica and Scabiosa ‘Butterfly Blue’, with gum trees dotting the surrounding landscape. As a child, I treasured mornings spent here with my nan, as she introduced me to names of various plants. It’s a memory that remains close to my heart.
